Hello, I have just bought the Galison Theme and there are some problems with it.

I have installed in a few sites, and the results are different:

In some sites, when using the recent posts with thumbnails widget, thi error comes:

Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home1/hurozpw0/public_html/wp-content/themes/the-galison/inc/theme-setup.php on line 1004

Then, in just one install (out of 3) the site title does not appear at the top. How to make it appear?

Also, how do I get my theme license here?

    Hi,

    thank you for purchasing.

Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home1/hurozpw0/public_html/wp-content/themes/the-galison/inc/theme-setup.php on line 1004

This is awkward. Did you modified something? Can you please send me admin access to your site with this error (on email)?

Site title – perhaps it’s disabled? Go to Theme Options / Header / Main and see if site title is checked.

    About theme license – here’s explanation: https://docs.themesbros.com/the-galison/#theme-license.

    Best regards,
    Sinisa

    Hi Sinisa,

In this meanwhile, I have found some temporary solutions.

First, I did not modify anything. THe line 1004 error was due to the theme conflict with a plugin (Recent Posts with Thumbnail plugin). I have removed the code in the line 1004 (I believe it was probably 1004 and 1005) it was related to filtering images and the problem went away.

Site Title: it was also another conflict with another plugin, for header and footer customization. Plugin off – i was solved.

Thirdly: I noticed that on mobile devices – there is no indication whatsoever of site name or title on the header – (considering using mobile with vertical screen). When using it with horizontal screen, it overlaps the header and part of it is just floating. Is there a way to fix it?

    Thanks

    Hi Joao,

I’ll update theme then to support this plugin soon, you’ll be notified.

Site title: I’d expect that this kind of a plugin doesn’t work with each theme, and that’s just the way it is.

Logo – yes, theme hides logo / site title on small resolutions because of lack of space to display it. Unfortunately there is no universal fix here, and it’s different for everyone. Can you send me the domain name, and I can give you some CSS to fix this the best way I can think of.
